Course Overview:
  • Total Duration: 200 hours
    • Contact Hours: 100 hours (live classes, group practice, and hands-on guidance)
    • Non-Contact Hours: 100 hours (self-study, practice, assignments, and reflective journaling)




Contact Hours (100 Hours):
  1. Introduction to Meditation (10 hours)
    • History and Philosophy of Meditation.
    • Overview of different meditation traditions, including Transcendental Meditation.
    • Understanding the mind-body connection in meditation.
  2. Mindfulness Meditation (10 hours)
    • Principles of mindfulness.
    • Techniques for cultivating awareness and presence.
    • Guided mindfulness practice sessions.
    • Teaching methodologies for mindfulness.
  3. Chakra Meditation (10 hours)
    • Understanding the chakra system and energy centers.
    • Techniques for balancing and activating chakras through meditation.
    • Visualization and mantra-based practices for each chakra.
  4. Transcendental Meditation (10 hours)
    • Principles and techniques of Transcendental Meditation.
    • The role of mantras and their vibrational impact.
    • Deepening the practice for stress relief and inner calm.
    • Teaching strategies for Transcendental Meditation.
  5. Vipassana Meditation (8 hours)

  10. Advanced Concepts & Philosophy (16 hours)

    • Paths of Yoga (Jnana, Karma, Bhakti) and Mantra Yoga.
    • 4 Steps to Yoga Meditation.
    • The Three Bodies (Physical, Subtle, Causal).
    • 4 States of Consciousness (Waking, Dreaming, Deep Sleep, and Turiya).
    • 3 Domains of Consciousness (Conscious, Subconscious, and Superconscious).
    • Body, Breath, and Mind Connection.

  11. Practice Teaching & Feedback (10 hours)

Non-Contact Hours (100 Hours):
  1. Self-Practice (40 hours)
    • Daily personal meditation practice, including Trataka.
    • Keeping a journal of experiences and reflections.
    • Practice guidelines for different techniques each week.
  2. Assigned Readings & Reflection (20 hours)
    • Study of recommended texts on meditation, mindfulness, and philosophy.
    • Writing reflections and summaries of each reading.
    • Topics include the philosophy of meditation, energy systems, and the history of practices like Transcendental Meditation.
  3. Practice Teaching & Video Submissions (20 hours)
    • Recording video sessions of leading a meditation.
    • Self-assessment and submission for instructor feedback.
    • Peer review sessions with fellow students.
  4. Assignments & Research (10 hours)
    • Research on different meditation traditions.
    • Assignments on adapting meditation techniques for specific needs (e.g., stress relief, sleep, emotional balance).
  5. Development of Personal Meditation Program (10 hours)
    • Designing a personalized meditation program for different types of students.

Certification Requirements:
  • Completion of all contact hours: Attendance in live sessions and active participation.
  • Completion of all non-contact hours: Submission of journals, assignments, and video sessions.
  • Final Assessment: Practical teaching session and a short written reflection on the journey.
